Thailand Internet
Association started in 1982 with the official registration
with the Thai government as “Thai Federation for Information
Processing (TFIP)” to represent Thailand in the International
Federation for Information Processing (IFIP). In 1998, TFIP voted
to join hand with about 20,000 internauts in Thailand to officially
register with the Thai government “Thailand Internet Association”
which now represents Thailand in IFIP. Thailand Internet Association
carries out all kinds of activities such as monthly seminars, radio
program, periodicals articles, journal publications, book publications,
serving as sources of information and comments and provide advises
to organization in Thailand.
